According to NY Daily News Gatecrasher comedian/actress Mo'Nique's chances at winning an Oscar may be going up in smoke because of her crazy demands and diva attitude. The initial buzz around Precious was that Mo'nique did an outstanding job and could be a front runner for a golden statue. An unidentified snitch told the paper that executives at Lionsgate have reached out to the film's executive producer Oprah Winfrey encouraging her to deflate Mo's ego.
It is alleged that Mo has missed key promotional events because she feels that since she was paid a lower rate for the film that she should be paid to promote the film. Sources say she has even gone as far as to ask for $100,000 for an appearance and first class flights for her glam squad. Talk about feeling yourself. Sheesh!
