Beyond the flashy Las Vegas gig, Toni Braxton has been relatively quiet on the pop radar. Looks like somebody's ready to breathe again in the spotlight. During a recent press conference at Jamaica's Reggae Sumfest, the multi-platinum singer officially announced some recording plans.
"My single comes out next month and we're keeping it a little younger," the 41-year-old Braxton is quoted as saying. "For my new album ... I'm doing some dance things in there a little bit. Hopefully I can add some great collaborations with some Jamaican artists. We're gonna have the classic Toni's of course, as they call it the 'baby making music', but we're gonna do some dancehall things in there as well."
Sean Paul and Shaggy are names that have been rumored for the yet-untitled CD.
With so much attention on the Rihannas and Keri Hilsons of the world, some older, more seasoned blood might do the R&B game some good.
